Academics
St.
Joseph’s Catholic School’s tradition of academic excellence
inspires students to think critically and communicate effectively, but
also to foster a love of learning and a commitment to service.
Both inside and outside of St. Joseph’s classrooms, students are
challenged to make the most of the many opportunities available to grow
intellectually, spiritually, and socially.
The
school offers a comprehensive educational experience with a
traditional, college preparatory, liberal arts curriculum, including
the arts, the humanities, the sciences, and daily instruction in
Catholic theology. The High School Course Catalog offers over eighty
college-preparatory, honors, and Advanced Placement
classes. A full range of guidance services are available to
help high school students with the scheduling of classes, standardized
testing, and transcripts, as well as college selection, application,
and scholarship opportunities. In addition, St. Joseph's offers
the St. Thomas Aquinas Program,
a supplementary program designed to serve a small group of
college-bound, high school students with mild language and/or learning
differences.
